Thoughts and Feelings on Barbara's Passing

Yesterday my first wife and the mother of my six children passed out of this world of duality. Here is what came to me:

Thoughts and Feelings on Barbara's Passing

when someone close
has passed from view
remembering is such a trap
it brings what never was
to the fore of now
and makes illusions
real once more
no peace in remembering
no love in remembering

when shadows of what 'was'
fade from view allowing
what 'is' to shine on thru
a light of truth shines
upon my soul and says
"you are Home at one with them
a place both never left
where peace is all for all
knowing love is all they brought"
being there, in love's place
remembering has lost its sting
and peace is all their passing brings
to lighten burdens felt
yet others never really dealt
